Children's Piano Concertos
These pieces are short piano concerots, which give the students the opportunity to perform a score playing with an orchestra.
- Orient Express - 5’45’’ Piano and Orff Orchestra. Orff Orchestra requirements: soprano xylophone, two alto xylophones, bass xylophone, bass resonator bars, alto glockenspiel, soprano metallphone, alto metallphone, three percussion players: I. drumset, II. two toms, III. two bass drums.
- Yazd - 3’15’’ Piano Duet (one piano four hands) and Orff Orchestra. Orff Orchestra requirements: soprano xylophone, two alto xylophones, bass xylophone, alto glockenspiel, alto (or soprano) metallphone, bass metallphone, five percussion players: I. drumset, II. two congas, III. three toms, IV. bass drum, V. jingle ring. One gong can be added ad libitum
- Kol Dodi - 2’30’’ Piano, Keyboard (synth, pad), Drumset, Congas (arrangement of the Hebrew song Kol Dodi)
- MikroConcert - 12’ Concerto for Piano and Orff Orchestra. Orff Orchestra requirements: soprano xylophone, two alto xylophones, bass xylophone, alto glockenspiel, soprano metallphone, alto metallphone, bass metallphone, two drumsets, three toms (ad libitum and only required in third movement). Mov. I Moderato, mov. II Adagio, mov. III Allegro
